The children say she’s used beautiful, all ten toes in the washing machine. Little Rick spitting alphabet soup on the congregation.

I can’t tell. The poem tells itself. A little piece spared by the Bell telephone.

Father, Mother and Son ate Stevie Wonder a nail, hair and strip at a time. Pamphlet-waving cyclists bloodied their knuckles. Neighbors auctioned, convened on the coast.
