(dispatch one & seven)

Mike Young performed live a couple times last month. First, he read online at The Sphere, perhaps the web's first open mic, along with your editor and fellow contributor Drew Kalbach. Five days later he waged war against the lovely Jen Michalski in Opium's Literary Death Match.

(dispatch two)

Dave Morrison's got a new collection of poetry called Black Boat Black Water Black Sand. Fan it on Facebook, dude.

(dispatch seven)

Our nerdy Rolling Rocker Drew Kalbach also wrote a truly fucking rad series of poems (he mostly does poetry) for Pangur Ban Party.

(dispatch eight & ten & eleven)

Amelia Gray also participated in a deathmatch, this one in Austin instead of Baltimore. She was reduced to ashes by Will Clarke in the 14th round, but did not let it get her down, and still had time to do her Five Things the other night. We are also happy to have nominated her for the Million Writers Award (along with Steve Goerger and Adam Moorad).

(dispatch eleven)

Adam has a new thing up at Killing the Buddha.

(dispatch sixteen)

Brian Edward Bahr had a bi-polar poetic experience in December (sorry to have missed it the first time around)—the close of the door at Everyday Poets and the summer is any at Abjective.

If anything was missed, it's because of your failure to tell me about it. I tracked down every one of these updates by hand.
