Mike Young performed live a couple times last month. First, he read online at The Sphere, perhaps the web's first open mic, along with your editor and fellow contributor Drew Kalbach. Five days later he waged war against the lovely Jen Michalski in Opium's Literary Death Match.

Our nerdy Rolling Rocker Drew Kalbach also wrote a truly fucking rad series of poems (he mostly does poetry) for Pangur Ban Party.

Amelia Gray also participated in a deathmatch, this one in Austin instead of Baltimore. She was reduced to ashes by Will Clarke in the 14^th round, but did not let it get her down, and still had time to do her Five Things the other night. We are also happy to have nominated her for the Million Writers Award (along with Steve Goerger and Adam Moorad).
